Your credit report data is obtained from our credit bureau and monitoring partners only after you provide authorization. ScoreRaptor is a credit monitoring tool, not a credit repair organization as defined under federal or state law. We display the data your credit bureaus report; any correspondence you choose to generate through our tools is prepared for your own review and use.

5. Data Security

Sensitive identifiers such as your Social Security number are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption before storage. Passwords are stored using a one-way cryptographic hash and are never stored in plain text. Access to identity and credit data is restricted to the systems and personnel that require it to operate the service.

We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in, and browser local storage to remember your email address if you choose "Remember me" at login. ScoreRaptor is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
